Welcome to Off Your Grid Limited and it’s websites terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of offyourgrid.ie and the selling of our products to you subject to the conditions set out below.
By using the website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree you should not use or access this website.
If you have any questions please contact our customer services team before you place an order. We will do our best to make sure all details displayed on this website are correct and up to date.
Please make sure that prior to placing an order:
- You warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Are resident in the European Union.
- You undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.
For the reason above, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to your address. Only those goods listed in the confirmation email sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.
ORDERING AND PAYMENTS
Please check all the relevant details about the products you’ve chosen in case any of these details have changed since you last visited us online. Every item shown on our website should be in stock and available for immediate shipping. However, if the item is not in stock, some of our products will be available on back-order. We cannot totally exclude the possibility that a particular product is no longer available, if there is a sudden run on demand. Should an item that you wish to purchase no longer be in stock or if there will be a delay before despatch, you will be contacted immediately.
Prices
Goods are charged at the price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order are inclusive of VAT (currently 23%). Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are accepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before processing. All prices are stated in Euro (€).
Payment
We accept PayPal and most major credit/debit cards.
DELIVERY
Delivery charges include postage and packing costs. Heavier or larger items may incur a surcharge. This information will be displayed before you purchase the item. Off Your Grid will absorb these costs where possible. After your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email regarding your order.
Dispatch
You will receive a follow up email confirming that the goods have been dispatched to your address. At Off Your Grid we aim to deliver your purchases within the estimated delivery time. In times of adverse weather conditions, public holidays or matters beyond our control, Off Your Grid is not liable in contract negligence or otherwise for any loss or damage resulting from any failure to meet the stated delivery date how so ever caused. If no one is available to accept the delivery you will receive notification to advise that a delivery has been attempted. Unfortunately we cannot specify specific delivery times during the day.
Ireland
Delivery cost in Ireland will be covered by Off Your Grid using a registered courier company. Heavier or larger items may incur a surcharge. This information will be displayed before you purchase the item.
Europe
Delivery to Europe is available at a flat rate of €30 per item. You can expect your delivery within 7 working days.
Please note that we do not ship outside of the EU.
Tracking your items
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with instructions on how to track your parcel. In case you do not receive the delivery confirmation within two working days, please contact us.
Packaging
All items will be specially packed in a protected box. Please use the same box for returns.
**ITEMS LOST IN THE POST
If an item goes missing whilst in the post or a customer has highlighted to us that an order of theirs has not been received, outside the estimated time for arrival, a refund/exchange will only be given if the courier company accepts the status of the parcel as missing. An investigation by the Courier company will then take place which can take up to 30 days. Off Your Grid cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in the transit.
RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
Please read our Returns Policy in full prior to making your purchase from our website.
If you are in any way unhappy with your goods and wish to make a return, please notify us (by email/letter/contact us form on website) before and up to 14 calendar days after you obtained physical possession of the goods. You have a further 14 days from the date you cancelled the order to return any item(s) to us.
The goods are your responsibility while they are in your possession. The item must be returned unused, in as sold condition, and in their original and undamaged packaging.
If the return is due to a change of mind, you will be responsible for the cost of delivering the item back to us. If the item is defective, we will refund any delivery costs incurred by you. We will examine the product and notify you of any refund due to you as soon as possible. A fee may apply, where handling the item beyond what is necessary to inspect the characteristics and features of the item have reduced the value of the goods.
If you are returning a power station, you must not return it via carrier or post. We will arrange for the item to be collected by an authorised courier. Please use the original packaging.
If an order arrives damaged, you should not accept it. Ask for the damage details to be specified on the delivery docket and refuse the parcel.
Receiving a refund
We aim to process all returns within 48 hours of the item reaching us and will email to confirm when this has been done. Your refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card. Your refund will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the return. Off Your Grid is not in a position to refund customs duties or taxes on international orders.

DISCLAIMER
We do not guarantee that all the items on the Off Your Grid online store are in stock at the time of your order. In the case of an incorrect stock balance affecting your order, we will contact you by phone or by email. Off Your Grid cannot warrant that the content of the site is at all times free of inaccuracies or typographical errors. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Off Your Grid may at any time change the content of the site. Though Off Your Grid strives to always display the correct text, images, and pricing on the site, errors may occur.
Product Quality
We take great care to describe our products correctly and to show photographs with clear images. However, if you believe that the website picture or description was inaccurate and you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately.
Safety
Many items stocked on Off Your Grid are of a technical nature. Please read the manual and safety instructions before using the item and always keep within the product’s limits.
We do not recommend using our power stations to power any device for medical emergency.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall Off Your Grid be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of or the inability to use offyourgrid.ie, any changes to offyourgrid.ie, any material or data sent or received or for any of the above-mentioned damages that result from the use or inability to use the products. In no circumstances shall our liability and that of our suppliers to you and/or any third parties for any of the above exceed €200.
Laws
The terms of use shall be governed by and construed fully in accordance with the laws of Ireland. You and Off Your Grid agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ireland. If any provision(s) of the terms of use is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.
OUR RIGHT TO VARY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities or for any other reason at our sole discretion which we may decide. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Dispatch Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the products).
