JTM Energy 3kW Portable Unit – Professional Portable Power

For film and television production, events, workshops, construction support and mobile work across Ireland, the JTM Energy 3kW Portable Unit combines 2,048Wh of LiFePO4 battery storage with 3,000W rated AC output. Weighing 22.19kg, it provides high-capacity portable power in a compact format for transport between working locations.

• 3,000W Rated AC Output

The unit provides 3,000W rated AC output with a stated peak output of 3,800W. The peak duration is not stated, so equipment with high starting loads should be checked for suitability before use.

Three Type G three-pin AC sockets are provided for standard Irish and UK plugs. The 3,000W rating applies to the unit’s total AC output and is not the output available from each socket.

• 2,048Wh LiFePO4 Battery

The 51.2V, 40Ah LiFePO4 battery provides a stated capacity of 2,048Wh. Actual operating time depends on the connected load, starting demand, operating conditions and conversion losses. Battery cycle-life figures have not been supplied.

• EPS with 20ms or Faster Transfer

The EPS function is rated at up to 3,000W with a stated transfer time of 20ms or less. A brief interruption may still occur during transfer, so compatibility should be checked for sensitive equipment.

The stated AC bypass rating is 3,600W.

• AC and Solar Charging

AC charging input is rated at up to 2,000W.

Solar input accepts up to 1,000W, with an input range of 12–80V DC, MPPT range of 18–80V DC and maximum solar current of 30A. Solar panels must be selected and connected within all stated voltage, current and power limits.

• High-Power DC and USB Connections

The unit provides two 12V sockets rated at 10A per port, USB-A output up to 18W and USB-C output up to 140W.

The Anderson DC output is rated at 12–80V, 30A and 1,000W maximum. Connected equipment and cables must be suitable for the required voltage, current and power.

• Vehicle Charging Input

A 12–15V DC vehicle input rated at 8A maximum is provided through the Anderson connection. The required vehicle charging cable and included accessories have not yet been confirmed.

• Portable 22.19kg Format

The unit measures 468 × 293.7 × 295.6mm and weighs 22.19kg. Its portable format is designed for mobile, backup, site and off-grid applications.

• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity

The 3kW unit supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity through the third-party Winergy app. The exact monitoring and control functions have not yet been confirmed.

• Three-Year Warranty

The unit is supplied with a three-year warranty. Faults are assessed following inspection to determine whether the case is covered by warranty or requires a repair. Contact Off Your Grid before returning any unit.

• The EPS function has a stated transfer time of 20ms or less and should not be treated as an uninterrupted medical or mission-critical power supply.
• No IP rating is stated. Use the unit in a dry, protected location unless a suitable environmental rating is confirmed.
