BLUETTI D40 DC-DC Battery Charger
The BLUETTI D40 is a 400W DC-DC battery charger designed to work with the BLUETTI AC200L portable power station. It allows compatible 12V house batteries to be charged from a BLUETTI power station, solar panels or a vehicle starter battery.
The D40 can also provide a regulated 12V DC output for compatible DC appliances, making it suitable for campervans, motorhomes and off-grid vehicle installations.
Designed for the AC200L
The D40 has been developed specifically for use with the BLUETTI AC200L. It connects through the dedicated 48V DC connection and provides intelligent charging and battery management for compatible battery systems.
It is not a universal DC-DC charger for all BLUETTI power stations.
Charge a 12V house battery
The D40 supports charging compatible LiFePO₄, AGM, Gel, Lead-acid and Calcium batteries with capacities above 100Ah.
The battery type is selected during setup to ensure the correct charging voltage is applied.

Multiple charging sources
The D40 can charge a compatible house battery using a BLUETTI AC200L, solar panels or a vehicle starter battery.
It incorporates electronic protection together with input-to-output isolation to help protect connected equipment during normal operation.
12V DC load mode
In Load Mode, the D40 can supply up to 12V 20A DC output for compatible 12V equipment when used with the AC200L.
This allows suitable DC appliances to be powered directly without requiring an AC inverter.
Installation
The D40 connects directly into a vehicle or off-grid DC electrical system and should be installed using suitable cable sizes and overcurrent protection.
Professional installation is recommended. Always check with your vehicle manufacturer before installation if there is any possibility that modifications could affect the vehicle warranty.
